(Quick note: This is a completely spoiler-free review of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.)
At 10:50 AM EST, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened to select guests that were standing by the gate, one of those guests was me! Wow, all I can say is the land is amazing. It’s one of the best places I’ve seen at Universal. As you step inside the world, you hear Harry Potter music and see Hogwarts Express train. Once there, you see the Butterbeer cart, you don’t want to miss buying some. There are tons of shops and great things to do! Now, let’s go on to some detail about Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey!
As you head through Potter land you well see the Flying Journey. The wait time was 30 minutes and for my 2nd ride it was a walk on! As you go through the queue, you will see some amazing things; things you have never seen before! Everything in the queue is well designed and you definitely want to get pictures of everything. When you head through the queue you well hear safety warnings and some information about the castle. Once through the queue you get a last warning by the talking wizard hat. After that, you will be redirected to your ride cart by stepping onto a big moving belt and before you know it, you’re strapped in and you’re off!! After two rides on this attraction I give it a 5 star one of the best rides I have ever been on and I can’t wait to ride it once more!
DO NOT TRUST THE OUTSIDE TEST SEATS!! When you are in the queue in the final Pre Show there is a test seat of the full ride car. If a cast member spots you may not be able to ride they well stop you and ask you to test the seat! Once you get the “OK” you well be redirected into a new shorter line due to you having to do this! Don’t worry I had to do to it to!!
